Welcome to Version 4.0 of The Case Manager [TM], reflecting four years
of requests for updates from Registered users in the U.S.A., Canada,
England, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.
This program has established its reputation among power users and has
always appealed to them. Now, with simplified menus and shortened
tutorials, The Case Manager [TM] will appeal to you, the first time
user, as well.
Each selection on any menu is highlighted with a light bar. As you
scroll up or down the light bar, explanatory text appears on the bottom
line of the screen, explaining the highlighted option. Each light bar
selection has different explanatory text.
The documentation is simplified as well. Before the program would ask
you to print 200 pages of documentation. Now the tutorial consists of
just 60 printed pages.
Because of the simplified menus and reduced documentation, The Case
Manager [TM] has a more intuitive feel and a shorter learning curve.

Dear Paul:
I have been using The Case Manager [TM] for approximately four years and I
continue to be amazed at how it has greatly increased my effectiveness as
an attorney and reduced the time I have to spend in the office.
Prior to making the "switch" to your program, I had the unfortunate task of
trying to manage a caseload of several hundred files with a manual index
card system, a legal pad, a rolodex [TM] phone/address device and filing
cabinet in the next room. Whenever a client would call to learn of the
status of their case, my secretary would have to bring me a file from the
cabinet and retrieve it after the call. My tickler file was limited to how
small I could print information on a 3 by 5" card. Phone numbers were
misplaced because there was no central filing system.
All that has changed! My daily affairs, both business and personal, are
managed by your program. Client and attorney phone numbers are a keystroke
away. Upon arriving at the office, I quickly print out my schedule for the
day. Each day I have an up-to-date report of those cases that are nearing
the Statute of Limitations. Upon entering The Case Manager [TM], I am
advised what activities I must perform that day. If it is a billable item,
I can enter the work performed, the amount of time it took me to complete
the task, and the amount of the bill. All this can then be printed in a
professional format for monthly billings statements to the client. Your
program has enabled me to access client information without having to pull
the file.
My case management has improved 100 percent! When a client calls they now
receive a prompt and accurate response to their questions. My staff has a
schedule of those legal papers that have to be filed each week. We are now
an organized and focused law firm.

Dear Paul:
I finally had to write to tell you how pleased I am with The Case
Manager [TM], a program I have used since September 30, 1990.
As a sole practitioner, it is critical that my time and billing
program capture all the activities performed on behalf of clients and
produce neat and accurate billing statements.
From the customization of the program, during installation, to the
ability to run a variety of reports tracking a client's payment or activity
history, the program is superb.
What is particularly useful is the Flash Report [TM]; which produces,
on screen, the history of all the client's activities; accessing same with
only one (1) keystroke. The simple key instructions are also very useful
when inputting activity records.
